Compare a complete scuba course quote

Start with the same course and package

Check whether you are looking at a full certification course, one stage of training, or an optional bundle. Record the course name, group or private format, dates and package. Keep anything the shop has not confirmed marked “Not confirmed”; a missing price is not a zero cost.

Ask for these costs in one written quote

• Tuition, online learning or books, and certification or processing charges.
• Pool sessions and open-water training: which sessions and venues are included?
• Rental equipment, tanks and air; any personal gear you must buy or arrange separately.
• Site entry, transport or accommodation, where applicable, and taxes.
• Any additional-session, rescheduling or cancellation charges and when they apply.

These are questions to ask, not a claim that every shop charges each item separately. Ask for the complete amount payable and which costs remain variable.
