Data sources and attribution

Every number on Scuba Nearby comes from one of these public sources. Each reading shows which station measured it, how far away the station is, and when it was measured.

How each value is labeled

Measured values come from a station, buoy or gauge. Modeled values come from a weather or ocean model and show their typical error against sensors. Tide times are Predicted. A station picked for a site is hand-checked to be on the same water body.
